In the days of my youth I often sat at the beach shore soaking in the vast expanse of ocean that was the beginning of creation on this earth.  I always felt that there was something on the other side of that ocean that would somehow be a part of my destiny but I never really knew until present time, what it was. As it turns out, it would be a person that would enter my life and be the very existence of my ultimate happiness. The soul that invigorated and revived my inspiration for not just life but art as well.  

For years my inspiration came from nature, animals,  immediate family, people, and places both in my minds eye, places I have been as well as places I would like to be.  And while I have always had the imagination to blend real life and fantasy in art and written stories, there has always been an appreciation for everything around me and I cannot help but still be inspired by lifes beauty in the balance of both light and dark.     

I am now older and hopefully wiser, and my passion in philosophy, and understanding of life and our world has never ceased to be my driving force.  I began with simple pencil and paper at a very early age and when the digital world of technology opened up, it gave me a new media to express my creativity.  I've always believed the creativity was gifted to me by my mother and although she is no longer with this world she will always be with me in everything I do.

With that, I dedicate this art to my mother, father, husband, our animals, and all that have touched my life in one way or another, including you.
